Bienstock built his early career at Sterling Optical, where he developed strong relationships with both colleagues and patients. He later became the owner of Spare Pair Optical, continuing his work as a trusted eye care provider known for his attention to detail and compassionate approach. Those who worked alongside him describe him as a steady presence in the optical community—someone who not only provided clinical expertise but also served as a mentor and friend. Patients often remembered him for the time he took with each individual and the genuine care he showed in his practice. Outside of his professional life, he is remembered for his quiet generosity and the respect he earned from those who knew him personally and professionally. Funeral services are scheduled for Monday at Plaza Memorial Chapel in New York, followed by burial at Mt. Ararat Cemetery on Long Island.
